1990 yahoo mail voice notification

A blast from the past!

In 1990, Yahoo! Mail was not yet available. Yahoo! was founded in March 1994 by Jerry Yang and David Filo, and it initially started as a directory of websites called "Jerry and David's Guide to the World Wide Web."

However, in 1997, Yahoo! launched its email service, Yahoo! Mail, which was a free web-based email service. At that time, the service was quite basic, with limited features and no voice notifications.

Voice notifications for email were not a common feature in the early days of email. In fact, most email services, including Yahoo! Mail, relied on visual notifications, such as pop-up windows or email clients that would alert users to new messages.

It wasn't until the late 1990s and early 2000s that voice notifications for email started to become more common, particularly with the rise of mobile devices and voice assistants like Siri and Google Assistant.

So, unfortunately, there was no Yahoo! Mail voice notification in 1990. But who knows, maybe one day we'll see a retro-futuristic revival of voice notifications for email!
