5e voice mail answering machine spell

A creative request! Here's a 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons spell idea for a "Voice Mail Answering Machine" spell:

Voice Mail Answering Machine

1st Level Divination

Casting Time: 1 action

Range: 30 feet

Components: S, M (a small, ornate box with a glowing crystal)

Duration: 1 hour

You create a magical voice mail answering machine that can receive and store messages from other creatures. When you cast this spell, you must specify the duration of the spell (up to 1 hour).

Effect: For the duration, you can receive and store messages from other creatures within 30 feet of you. When a creature wants to leave a message, they must make a Wisdom (Perception) check against your spell save DC. If they succeed, they can leave a message, which is stored in the magical box. The message can be up to 1 minute long and can include any information the creature wants to convey.

Message Retrieval: You can retrieve messages at any time during the spell's duration by using an action to open the magical box. You can then listen to the messages, which will play back in your mind. You can also choose to delete a message or save it for later reference.

Restrictions: This spell can only store a maximum of 5 messages. If a new message is received while the box is full, the oldest message will be automatically deleted.

Example: A bard uses this spell to receive messages from their allies while they're on a mission. They specify a duration of 2 hours and place the magical box in their camp. During that time, several allies come to leave messages, including a warning about an ambush and a request for supplies. The bard can retrieve the messages at any time and respond accordingly.

This spell is perfect for characters who need to stay in touch with their allies or receive important information while they're away from their main base of operations. Just be careful not to get too many messages, or you might end up with a full box!
