To configure mail return (also known as mail forwarding or email forwarding) on A2 Hosting, you'll need to follow these steps:
Method 1: Using cPanel
- Log in to your cPanel account.
- Click on the "Email" section and then select "Forwarders".
- Click on the "Add Forwarder" button.
- Enter the email address you want to forward (e.g., [email protected]).
- Enter the destination email address where you want to forward the emails (e.g., [email protected]).
- Choose the forwarding option: "Forward to email address" or "Append to email address".
- Click "Add Forwarder" to save the changes.
Method 2: Using.forward file
- Log in to your FTP client (e.g., FileZilla) and connect to your A2 Hosting account.
- Navigate to the public_html directory (or the directory where your email account is located).
- Create a new file named
.forward
(dot-forward). - Open the file in a text editor and add the following line:
[email protected]
(replace with the destination email address). - Save the file.
