Accusé de réception mail android
The "Accusé de réception" (AR) is a feature in Android that allows you to request a read receipt for an email. Here's how to use it:
Sending an email with Accusé de réception (AR)
- Open the Gmail app on your Android device.
- Compose a new email by tapping the "+" icon.
- Enter the recipient's email address and any other necessary information.
- Tap the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the screen.
- Tap "More" and then select "Request read receipt" (or "Accusé de réception" in some languages).
- Tap "Send" to send the email.
Receiving an Accusé de réception (AR)
When the recipient opens the email, you will receive a notification on your device indicating that the email has been read. The notification will show the recipient's name and the date and time the email was read.
Note: The Accusé de réception feature is only available for emails sent to other Gmail users. If you send an email to a non-Gmail user, they will not be able to request a read receipt.
Disabling Accusé de réception (AR)
If you want to disable the Accusé de réception feature, you can do so by following these steps:
- Open the Gmail app on your Android device.
- Tap the three horizontal lines at the top left corner of the screen to open the menu.
- Tap "Settings" and then select "General settings".
- Scroll down to the "Sending" section and toggle off "Request read receipts".
By disabling Accusé de réception, you will no longer be able to request read receipts for your emails.
