In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, sending mail to friends is a great way to stay in touch and share your island life with others. Here's how to do it:

Sending Mail

1. Open your NookPhone and navigate to the "Photos" app.
2. Take a photo of the item or letter you want to send. You can take a photo of an item in your inventory, a villager, or even a screenshot of your island.
3. Tap the "Mail" icon () in the top-right corner of the screen.
4. Select the photo you just took and choose the friend you want to send it to from your friend list.
5. Write a brief message (up to 100 characters) to accompany the photo.
6. Tap "Send" to send the mail.

Receiving Mail

1. When you receive mail, you'll see a notification on your NookPhone.
2. Open the "Mail" app to view your new mail.
3. Tap on the mail to open it and view the photo and message.
4. You can respond to the mail by tapping the "Reply" button.

Tips

• You can send up to 10 items at a time, so feel free to send a bunch of photos or letters to your friends!
• Make sure you have enough storage space on your NookPhone, as sending large files can take up a lot of space.
• You can also send mail to your friends who are not online by using the "Send Later" feature. This will send the mail when your friend is online.
