Add alias cpanel mail

To add an alias in cPanel, you can follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. Click on the "Email" section.
  3. Click on the "Forwarders" option.
  4. Click on the "Add Forwarder" button.
  5. Enter the alias you want to create in the "Forward to" field. For example, if you want to create an alias for the email address "[email protected]", you would enter "info" in this field.
  6. Select the email account you want to forward to from the "Forward to" dropdown menu.
  7. Choose the forwarding type from the "Forwarding Type" dropdown menu. You can choose from the following options:
    • "Forward to a new email address" - This will forward the email to a new email address.
    • "Forward to a mailbox" - This will forward the email to a mailbox on your cPanel account.
    • "Discard" - This will discard the email and not forward it to any other email address.
  8. Click the "Add Forwarder" button to create the alias.

Once you've created the alias, you can use it to receive emails that are intended for the original email address. For example, if you create an alias for "[email protected]", you can use "info" as the email address to receive emails that are intended for "[email protected]".

Here's an example of how you can use the alias in your email client:

Note that you may need to configure your email client to use the alias as the email address, and you may need to set up the email client to use the correct server and port.
