  2. Click on the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
  3. Click on the "Create a new filter" button.
  4. In the "From" field, enter @avast.com.
  5. Click on the "Create filter" button.
  6. In the "Apply the label" dropdown menu, select "Apply the label: Avast".
  7. Click on the "Create" button.

For Outlook users:

  1. Open Outlook and go to the "File" menu.
  2. Click on "Options" and then select "Trust Center".
  3. Click on the "Trust Center Settings" button.
  4. In the "Trust Center Settings" window, click on the "Email Security" tab.
  5. Check the box next to "Turn on Outlook's built-in antivirus and anti-spam protection".
  6. Click "OK" to close the window.

For other email clients:

If you're using a different email client, such as Mozilla Thunderbird or Apple Mail, you may need to configure the email client to use Avast's email scanning feature. Here are some general steps:

  1. Open your email client and go to the settings or preferences menu.
  2. Look for the "Security" or "Antivirus" settings and enable the email scanning feature.
  3. Enter your Avast account credentials or the path to your Avast antivirus software.
  4. Configure the email scanning settings as desired (e.g., scan attachments, scan emails with specific subjects or senders).

Note: Avast's email scanning feature is only available for Avast Premium and Avast Internet Security users. If you're using Avast Free Antivirus, you won't have access to this feature.

Once you've configured your email client to use Avast's email scanning feature, Avast will scan your emails for malware and other threats, and add its signature to the emails it scans.
