Add bcc to outgoing mail in outlook

To add a Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) to an outgoing email in Outlook, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Using the BCC field in the email composition window

  1. Open a new email message in Outlook by clicking on the "New Email" button in the Home tab or by pressing Ctrl + Shift + E.
  2. In the "To" field, enter the email address of the recipient you want to send the email to.
  3. In the "CC" field, enter the email address of the recipient you want to send a copy to (optional).
  4. Click on the "BCC" field, which is usually located below the "CC" field.
  5. Enter the email address of the recipient you want to send a blind carbon copy to.
  6. Click "Send" to send the email.

Method 2: Using the "BCC" button in the ribbon

  1. Open a new email message in Outlook by clicking on the "New Email" button in the Home tab or by pressing Ctrl + Shift + E.
  2. In the "To" field, enter the email address of the recipient you want to send the email to.
  3. Click on the "BCC" button in the "Tags" group of the ribbon.
  4. Enter the email address of the recipient you want to send a blind carbon copy to.
  5. Click "OK" to add the BCC recipient.
  6. Click "Send" to send the email.

Method 3: Using the "Quick Steps" feature

  1. Open a new email message in Outlook by clicking on the "New Email" button in the Home tab or by pressing Ctrl + Shift + E.
  2. Click on the "Quick Steps" button in the "Tags" group of the ribbon.
  3. Click on the "Create a New Quick Step" button.
  4. In the "Quick Step" window, select "BCC" as the action.
  5. Enter the email address of the recipient you want to send a blind carbon copy to.
  6. Click "OK" to save the Quick Step.
  7. Click "Send" to send the email.

Note: To add a BCC recipient using the "Quick Steps" feature, you need to have the "Quick Steps" feature enabled in your Outlook settings. To enable it, go to File > Options > Quick Steps, and select the "Enable Quick Steps" checkbox.
