Add coloured flags to mac mails
A nice feature!
To add colored flags to your Mac Mail emails, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Using the Flag button
- Open Mail on your Mac.
- Select the email you want to flag.
- Click on the "Flag" button in the toolbar or press
⌘ + Shift + F
. - A flag icon will appear next to the email in the message list.
- To change the color of the flag, click on the flag icon and select a color from the dropdown menu.
Method 2: Using the Flag menu
- Open Mail on your Mac.
- Select the email you want to flag.
- Go to "Message" > "Flag" > "Flag with Color" (or use the keyboard shortcut
⌘ + Shift + F
). - A flag icon will appear next to the email in the message list.
- To change the color of the flag, go to "Message" > "Flag" > "Flag with Color" again and select a different color.
Method 3: Using the Flag palette
- Open Mail on your Mac.
- Select the email you want to flag.
- Click on the "Flag" button in the toolbar or press
⌘ + Shift + F
. - A flag icon will appear next to the email in the message list.
- Click on the flag icon to open the Flag palette.
- Click on a color in the palette to change the color of the flag.
You can also customize the flag colors by going to "Mail" > "Preferences" > "General" and clicking on the "Flag" tab. From there, you can select a color for each flag type (e.g., "Flagged", "Follow-up", etc.).
