Add contact to gmail address book
Here are the steps to add a contact to your Gmail address book:
Method 1: Add a contact from an email conversation
- Open your Gmail inbox and find the email conversation with the person you want to add as a contact.
- Click on the name of the person at the top of the conversation.
- Click on the "Add to contacts" button that appears.
- Confirm that you want to add the contact by clicking "Save".
Method 2: Add a contact from a new email
- Compose a new email to the person you want to add as a contact.
- Type the person's email address in the "To" field.
- Click on the "Add to contacts" button that appears next to the "To" field.
- Fill in the contact's details, such as name, email address, and phone number.
- Click "Save" to add the contact to your address book.
Method 3: Add a contact manually
- Go to your Gmail contacts page by clicking on the "Contacts" link in the top navigation bar.
- Click on the "New contact" button.
- Fill in the contact's details, such as name, email address, and phone number.
- You can also add additional information, such as address, birthday, and notes.
- Click "Save" to add the contact to your address book.
Tips:
- You can also add contacts from other sources, such as your phonebook or social media profiles, by clicking on the "Import" button on the contacts page.
