Add contacts to group mailing list gmail

To add contacts to a group mailing list in Gmail, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Using the "New Contact Group" feature

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page and select "See all settings."
  3. Scroll down to the "Contacts" tab.
  4. Click on the "Create a new contact group" button.
  5. Enter a name for your group and add contacts to it by typing their names or email addresses in the "Add members" field. You can also select contacts from your existing contacts list.
  6. Click "Save" to create the group.

Method 2: Using the "To" field

  1. Compose a new email in Gmail.
  2. In the "To" field, start typing the name of the group you want to add contacts to. Gmail will suggest matching groups.
  3. Select the group from the dropdown list.
  4. Add the contacts you want to add to the group by typing their names or email addresses in the "To" field, separated by commas.
  5. Click "Send" to send the email to the group.

Method 3: Using the "Contacts" page

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the "Contacts" link in the left sidebar.
  3. Click on the "New group" button.
  4. Enter a name for your group and add contacts to it by selecting them from your existing contacts list.
  5. Click "Save" to create the group.

Once you've added contacts to a group, you can easily send emails to the group by typing the group name in the "To" field. You can also use the "Group" label to categorize emails sent to the group.

Note: To manage your contact groups, go to the "Contacts" page and click on the "Groups" tab. From there, you can edit or delete groups, as well as add or remove contacts from them.
