Add emoticons to yahoo mail
A blast from the past! 😄 Adding emoticons to Yahoo Mail is a bit tricky, but I'll guide you through the process.
Method 1: Using the Yahoo Mail emoticon keyboard
- Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
- Compose a new email or reply to an existing one.
- Click on the "Smile" icon (🙂) located in the bottom left corner of the compose window.
- This will open the emoticon keyboard. You can browse through the available emoticons and click on the one you want to add to your email.
- The emoticon will be inserted into your email.
Method 2: Using HTML code
- Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
- Compose a new email or reply to an existing one.
- Type the HTML code for the emoticon you want to use. For example:
- :) for a smiling face
- :( for a frowning face
- ;-) for a winking face
- etc.
- The emoticon will be displayed in your email.
Here are some common HTML codes for emoticons:
- :) - smiling face
- :( - frowning face
- ;-) - winking face
- :-D - big grin
- :-O - surprised face
- :-P - tongue out
- :-| - neutral face
- :-/ - confused face
- :-( - crying face
Method 3: Using a third-party add-on
- Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
- Install a third-party add-on like "Emoticons for Yahoo Mail" or "Smileys for Yahoo Mail" from the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons.
- Once installed, you can access the add-on by clicking on the icon in your browser toolbar.
- Browse through the available emoticons and click on the one you want to add to your email.
- The emoticon will be inserted into your email.
Note: These methods may not work if you're using the Yahoo Mail app on your mobile device. In that case, you can try using the HTML code method or searching for a third-party app that allows you to add emoticons to your emails.
