Add g mail account with ibm verse
To add a Gmail account to IBM Verse, follow these steps:
Prerequisites:
- You have an IBM Verse account.
- You have a Gmail account.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Log in to your IBM Verse account.
- Click on the gear icon () in the top right corner of the page.
- Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to the "Accounts" section.
- Click on the "Add account" button.
- Select "Google" as the account type.
- Enter your Gmail account credentials (email address and password).
- Click "Next" to continue.
- IBM Verse will ask for permission to access your Gmail account. Click "Allow" to grant access.
- You will be redirected back to the IBM Verse settings page.
- Your Gmail account should now be listed under the "Accounts" section.
Verify the Integration:
- Log in to your IBM Verse account.
- Click on the "Mail" tab.
- You should see your Gmail account listed under the "Mail" tab.
- You can now send and receive emails from your Gmail account using IBM Verse.
Tips and Variations:
- You can also add multiple Gmail accounts to IBM Verse by repeating the above steps.
- If you have multiple email accounts, you can switch between them by clicking on the account name in the top right corner of the page.
- IBM Verse supports IMAP and POP3 protocols for Gmail accounts. If you prefer to use these protocols, you can configure them in the IBM Verse settings page.
