Add google mail icon to desktop
To add the Google Mail icon to your desktop, you can follow these steps:
For Windows:
- Right-click on an empty area of your desktop.
- Select "New" and then "Shortcut" from the context menu.
- In the "Create Shortcut" window, enter the following URL:
https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox
- Click "Next" and then "Finish" to create the shortcut.
- You can rename the shortcut to "Google Mail" or any other name you prefer.
- You can also change the icon of the shortcut by right-clicking on it, selecting "Properties", and then clicking on the "Change Icon" button.
For Mac:
- Click on the "Applications" folder in the Finder.
- Right-click (or control-click) on the "Google Chrome" application and select "Services" > "Create New Folder" from the context menu.
- Name the new folder "Google Mail" or any other name you prefer.
- Right-click (or control-click) on the "Google Mail" folder and select "Services" > "Create New Document" from the context menu.
- In the "New Document" window, enter the following URL:
https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox
- Click "Save" to create the document.
- You can then drag and drop the document to your desktop to create a shortcut.
For Linux:
- Right-click on an empty area of your desktop.
- Select "Create Launcher" from the context menu.
- In the "Create Launcher" window, enter the following URL:
https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox
- Click "OK" to create the launcher.
- You can rename the launcher to "Google Mail" or any other name you prefer.
- You can also change the icon of the launcher by right-clicking on it, selecting "Properties", and then clicking on the "Change Icon" button.
Note: Make sure you have Google Chrome or another web browser installed on your computer to access Google Mail.
