Add junk folder to iphone mail

To add a Junk folder to your iPhone's Mail app, you'll need to enable the "Junk Mail" feature. Here's how:

For iPhone with iOS 14 or later:

  1. Open the Mail app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap on the "Settings" icon (looks like a gear) in the top right corner.
  3. Scroll down and tap on "Accounts".
  4. Tap on the account you want to enable Junk Mail for (e.g., iCloud, Gmail, etc.).
  5. Tap on "Junk Mail" and toggle the switch to the "On" position.
  6. You'll be prompted to enable "Junk Mail" for that account. Tap "Enable" to confirm.

For iPhone with iOS 13 or earlier:

  1. Open the Mail app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap on the "Settings" icon (looks like a gear) in the top right corner.
  3. Scroll down and tap on "Mail, Contacts, Calendars".
  4. Tap on the account you want to enable Junk Mail for (e.g., iCloud, Gmail, etc.).
  5. Scroll down to the "Junk Mail" section and toggle the switch to the "On" position.

Once you've enabled Junk Mail, your iPhone will start moving suspected junk emails to a new "Junk" folder. You can access this folder by tapping on the "Mailboxes" tab at the bottom of the Mail app, then selecting "Junk" from the list of folders.

Note: The Junk Mail feature uses algorithms to identify and move suspected junk emails to the Junk folder. While it's generally effective, it's not foolproof, and you may need to manually move some emails to the Junk folder or mark them as "Not Junk" to improve its accuracy.
