Add label in gmail mail app android

To add a label in the Gmail app on Android, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Gmail app on your Android device.
  2. Open the email you want to label.
  3. Tap the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the screen.
  4. Tap "Labels" from the dropdown menu.
  5. Tap "New label" at the bottom of the screen.
  6. Enter a name for your label in the "Label name" field.
  7. Tap "Create" to create the label.

Alternatively, you can also add a label to an email from the inbox:

  1. Open the Gmail app on your Android device.
  2. Open the inbox.
  3. Long-press on the email you want to label.
  4. Tap "Labels" from the dropdown menu.
  5. Tap "New label" at the bottom of the screen.
  6. Enter a name for your label in the "Label name" field.
  7. Tap "Create" to create the label.

Once you've created a label, you can apply it to multiple emails at once by selecting the emails and then tapping the "Labels" button.

Note: You can also use the "Move to" feature to move an email to a label. To do this, open the email, tap the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the screen, and then tap "Move to" and select the label you want to move the email to.
