Add new name to gmal mailing list

To add a new name to a Gmail mailing list, you'll need to create a new label and add the email address to it. Here's how:

Step 1: Create a new label

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the upper right corner of the page.
  3. Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Scroll down to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
  5. Click on "Create a new filter".
  6. Enter the name of the label you want to create (e.g., "Mailing List").
  7. Click "Create".

Step 2: Add the email address to the label

  1. Go back to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
  2. Click on "Create a new filter".
  3. Enter the email address you want to add to the mailing list (e.g., [email protected]).
  4. Click "Create".
  5. In the "Apply the label" dropdown menu, select the label you created in Step 1 (e.g., "Mailing List").
  6. Click "Apply".

Step 3: Verify the email address

  1. The new email address should now be added to the mailing list.
  2. To verify that the email address has been added correctly, you can search for the email address in your Gmail search bar. If it appears in the search results, it's been added successfully.

That's it! The new email address should now receive emails sent to the mailing list.
