Add signature in mail app
To add a signature in the Mail app on your iPhone or iPad, follow these steps:
For iOS 13 and later:
- Open the Mail app and go to the "Settings" icon (looks like a gear) in the top right corner.
- Tap on "Signature" from the menu.
- Tap on "Add Signature" and enter your signature text in the text field.
- You can format your signature using the formatting options (bold, italic, etc.) and add a photo or image if you want.
- Tap "Done" to save your signature.
For iOS 12 and earlier:
- Open the Mail app and go to the "Settings" icon (looks like a gear) in the top right corner.
- Tap on "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" from the menu.
- Scroll down and tap on "Signature".
- Tap on "Edit" and enter your signature text in the text field.
- You can format your signature using the formatting options (bold, italic, etc.) and add a photo or image if you want.
- Tap "Done" to save your signature.
To add a signature to a specific email account:
If you have multiple email accounts set up on your device, you can add a signature to a specific account by following these steps:
- Go to the "Settings" app and tap on "Mail".
- Tap on the account you want to add a signature to.
- Tap on "Signature" and follow the same steps as above.
Your signature will now be added to all new emails you compose using the Mail app.
