Add unread mail folder to outlook 2016

To add an "Unread Mail" folder in Outlook 2016, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Using the Outlook Ribbon

  1. Open Outlook 2016 and navigate to the "Mail" folder.
  2. Click on the "View" tab in the ribbon.
  3. Click on the "View Settings" button in the "Current View" group.
  4. In the "View Settings" dialog box, click on the "Folders" tab.
  5. Click on the "New" button to create a new folder.
  6. In the "Create New Folder" dialog box, enter a name for the folder (e.g., "Unread Mail").
  7. Click "OK" to create the folder.

Method 2: Using the Outlook Navigation Pane

  1. Open Outlook 2016 and navigate to the "Mail" folder.
  2. In the navigation pane, right-click on the "Mail" folder and select "New Folder".
  3. In the "Create New Folder" dialog box, enter a name for the folder (e.g., "Unread Mail").

Method 3: Using the Outlook Search Folders

  1. Open Outlook 2016 and navigate to the "Mail" folder.
  2. Click on the "Search Folders" button in the "Navigation Pane" (it looks like a magnifying glass).
  3. In the "Search Folders" dialog box, click on the "New Search Folder" button.
  4. In the "Create New Search Folder" dialog box, select "Unread Mail" as the search criteria.
  5. Click "OK" to create the search folder.

Once you've created the "Unread Mail" folder, you can use it to view only unread emails in your mailbox. Simply navigate to the folder and Outlook will display only the unread emails in that folder.

Note: If you want to automatically move unread emails to this folder, you can set up a rule in Outlook to do so. To do this, go to "File" > "Options" > "Mail" > "Rules", and then create a new rule to move unread emails to the "Unread Mail" folder.
