Adding attchments in mail app
To add attachments in the Mail app on your device, follow these steps:
For Android devices:
- Open the Mail app and compose a new email or reply to an existing one.
- Tap the paperclip icon () located at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the type of file you want to attach (e.g., photo, document, audio file, etc.).
- Choose the file you want to attach from your device's storage.
- The attachment will be added to the email.
For iOS devices (iPhone and iPad):
- Open the Mail app and compose a new email or reply to an existing one.
- Tap the "Attach" button () located at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the type of file you want to attach (e.g., photo, document, audio file, etc.).
- Choose the file you want to attach from your device's storage.
- The attachment will be added to the email.
Additional tips:
- You can attach multiple files to an email by repeating the process.
- You can also attach files from cloud storage services like Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive by selecting the "Cloud" option.
- Make sure the file size is within the allowed limit set by your email provider or the recipient's email provider.
- If you're attaching a large file, you may need to compress it or use a file-sharing service to send it.
