Adding bigpond account to mac mail
To add a BigPond account to Mac Mail, follow these steps:
- Open Mac Mail on your Mac.
- Click on "Mail" in the top menu bar and select "Preferences".
- Click on the "Accounts" tab.
- Click on the "+" button at the bottom left corner of the window.
- Select "Other Mail Account" from the dropdown menu.
- Enter your BigPond email address and password in the respective fields.
- Click on "Continue".
- Select "IMAP" as the account type.
- Enter the following settings:
- Incoming Mail Server: mail.bigpond.com
- Outgoing Mail Server: mail.bigpond.com
- User Name: your BigPond email address
- Password: your BigPond email password
- Click on "Create" to add the account.
- Mac Mail will verify the account settings. If everything is correct, you should see a success message.
- Click on "Done" to close the preferences window.
Your BigPond account should now be added to Mac Mail. You can access your email by clicking on the "Mail" icon in the dock and selecting your BigPond account from the list of accounts.
