Adding imap mail in i8

To add an IMAP mail account in iOS 8, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap on "Mail, Contacts, Calendars".
3. Tap on "Add Account".
4. Select "Other" as the account type.
5. Tap on "Add Mail Account".
6. Enter the following information:
   • Name: Your name as you want it to appear in the "From" field of your emails.
   • Address: Your email address.
   • Password: Your email account password.
   • Description: A description for your account (optional).
7. Tap "Next" to continue.
8. Select "IMAP" as the account type.
9. Enter the following IMAP settings:
   • Host Name: The hostname of your IMAP server (e.g. imap.gmail.com).
   • User Name: Your email address.
   • Password: Your email account password.
   • Authentication: Select "Password" as the authentication method.
10. Tap "Next" to continue.
11. You will be asked to verify your account settings. Tap "Save" to save the changes.

Your IMAP account should now be added to your iOS device. You can access your email by going to the Mail app and selecting your account from the list of accounts.

Note: Make sure to replace the "Host Name" with the actual hostname of your IMAP server. For example, if you're using Gmail, the hostname would be imap.gmail.com.
