Adding yahoo mail to gmail

You can add your Yahoo Mail account to your Gmail account using the "Send mail as" feature in Gmail. Here's how:

Step 1: Enable IMAP in Yahoo Mail

1. Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
2. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner and select "Settings".
3. Scroll down to the "Accounts" section and click on "Account info".
4. Click on "Account security" and then toggle the switch next to "Allow apps to access all of your Yahoo Mail data" to the "On" position.
5. Scroll down to the "POP and IMAP" section and toggle the switch next to "Enable IMAP" to the "On" position.

Step 2: Add Yahoo Mail to Gmail

1. Log in to your Gmail account.
2. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner and select "See all settings".
3. Scroll down to the "Accounts and Import" tab.
4. Click on "Add a POP3 mail account" or "Add a non-Gmail account".
5. Enter your Yahoo Mail address and password, and click "Next".
6. Select "IMAP" as the protocol and enter the following settings:
   • Server: imap.yahoo.com
   • Port: 993
   • Username: your Yahoo Mail address
   • Password: your Yahoo Mail password
7. Click "Add account" to complete the setup.

Step 3: Configure the "Send mail as" feature

1. Go back to the "Accounts and Import" tab.
2. Click on "Send mail as" and then click on "Add another email address you own".
3. Enter your Yahoo Mail address and click "Next".
4. Select "IMAP" as the protocol and enter the same settings as before:
   • Server: imap.yahoo.com
   • Port: 993
   • Username: your Yahoo Mail address
   • Password: your Yahoo Mail password
5. Click "Add" to complete the setup.

Step 4: Verify your Yahoo Mail account

1. Go back to the "Accounts and Import" tab.
2. Click on "Send mail as" and then click on the Yahoo Mail address you added.
3. Click on the "Verify" button next to "Send mail as" to verify your Yahoo Mail account.

Once you've completed these steps, you should be able to send and receive emails from your Yahoo Mail account using your Gmail account.
