Adelphia.net mail

A blast from the past!

adelphia.net was the original domain name of the internet service provider (ISP) Comcast, which was founded in 1969 as a small cable television company in Tupelo, Mississippi. In the early 1990s, Comcast began to offer internet access to its customers, and the @adelphia.net email address was born.

In 2003, Comcast acquired AT&T Broadband, which included the @adelphia.net domain name. At the time, @adelphia.net was one of the largest ISPs in the United States, with over 4 million subscribers.

However, in 2008, Comcast began to phase out the @adelphia.net email address and replaced it with @comcast.net. This was part of a larger effort to consolidate its brand and simplify its online presence.

Today, @comcast.net is still an active email domain, but @adelphia.net is no longer in use. If you had an @adelphia.net email address, you may have been migrated to a @comcast.net address or had the option to keep your old email address.
