Adjust columns apple mail
The joys of customizing Apple Mail!
To adjust columns in Apple Mail, follow these steps:
- Open Apple Mail and select the mailbox or folder you want to customize.
- Click on the "View" menu at the top of the screen.
- Select "Customize Toolbar" from the dropdown menu.
- In the Customize Toolbar window, click on the "Columns" tab.
- You'll see a list of available columns on the left side of the window. Check the boxes next to the columns you want to display in your mailbox.
- You can also reorder the columns by dragging and dropping them to the desired position.
- Click "Done" to save your changes.
Some popular columns to consider adding include:
- From: Displays the sender's email address.
- Subject: Displays the subject line of the email.
- Date: Displays the date and time the email was sent.
- Size: Displays the size of the email attachment.
- Flagged: Displays a flag icon next to emails you've flagged for follow-up.
- Priority: Displays a priority level (e.g., High, Normal, Low) for each email.
Tips:
- You can also customize the width of each column by dragging the column separator to the left or right.
- To remove a column, simply uncheck the box next to it.
- You can also use the "Reset" button to restore the default column layout.
