Airtel mail outlook configuration

Here are the steps to configure Airtel mail with Outlook:

Step 1: Set up your Airtel email account

  1. Go to the Airtel website and sign in to your email account.
  2. Click on the "Settings" icon (represented by a gear icon) and select "Account Settings".
  3. Click on "POP/IMAP" and note down the following settings:
    • POP3 Server: pop.airtelbroadband.in
    • IMAP Server: imap.airtelbroadband.in
    • SMTP Server: smtp.airtelbroadband.in
    • Port: 110 (POP3) or 143 (IMAP)
    • Username: Your Airtel email address
    • Password: Your Airtel email password

Step 2: Configure Outlook

  1. Open Outlook and go to "File" > "Add Account".
  2. Select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next".
  3. Select "POP or IMAP" and click "Next".
  4. Enter the following settings:
    • Your Name: Your name as you want it to appear in the "From" field
    • Email Address: Your Airtel email address
    • POP3 Server: pop.airtelbroadband.in
    • POP3 Port: 110
    • Username: Your Airtel email address
    • Password: Your Airtel email password
    • IMAP Server: imap.airtelbroadband.in
    • IMAP Port: 143
  5. Click "More Settings" and select the "Outgoing Server" tab.
  6. Check the box next to "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" and select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".
  7. Click "OK" to save the changes.
  8. Click "Next" and then "Finish" to complete the setup.

Step 3: Verify your settings

  1. Go to the "Send/Receive" tab in Outlook and click "Send/Receive All Folders".
  2. Check your Airtel email account to ensure that the emails are being received correctly.
