Alice mail zimbra settings
Here are the settings for configuring Alice Mail with Zimbra:
Step 1: Enable IMAP in Zimbra
- Log in to your Zimbra web interface as an administrator.
- Go to Settings > Configure > Mail > IMAP.
- Enable IMAP and set the IMAP port to 143.
- Save the changes.
Step 2: Configure Alice Mail
- Download and install Alice Mail from the official website.
- Launch Alice Mail and go to Settings > Accounts.
- Click on Add account and select IMAP.
- Enter the following settings:
- Account name: Your name (e.g., John Doe)
- Email address: Your Zimbra email address (e.g., [email protected])
- IMAP server: Your Zimbra server's hostname or IP address (e.g., mail.yourcompany.com or 192.168.1.100)
- IMAP port: 143
- Username: Your Zimbra email address (e.g., [email protected])
- Password: Your Zimbra password
- Click Next and then Finish to complete the setup.
Step 3: Configure Alice Mail to use SSL/TLS
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Edit next to your Zimbra account.
- Click on Advanced and select Use SSL/TLS.
- Set the SSL/TLS port to 993.
- Save the changes.
Step 4: Test your connection
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Edit next to your Zimbra account.
- Click on Test to test your connection.
- If everything is set up correctly, you should see a success message.
That's it! You should now be able to access your Zimbra email account using Alice Mail.
