Alice mail zimbra settings

Here are the settings for configuring Alice Mail with Zimbra:

Step 1: Enable IMAP in Zimbra

  1. Log in to your Zimbra web interface as an administrator.
  2. Go to Settings > Configure > Mail > IMAP.
  3. Enable IMAP and set the IMAP port to 143.
  4. Save the changes.

Step 2: Configure Alice Mail

  1. Download and install Alice Mail from the official website.
  2. Launch Alice Mail and go to Settings > Accounts.
  3. Click on Add account and select IMAP.
  4. Enter the following settings:
    • Account name: Your name (e.g., John Doe)
    • Email address: Your Zimbra email address (e.g., [email protected])
    • IMAP server: Your Zimbra server's hostname or IP address (e.g., mail.yourcompany.com or 192.168.1.100)
    • IMAP port: 143
    • Username: Your Zimbra email address (e.g., [email protected])
    • Password: Your Zimbra password
  5. Click Next and then Finish to complete the setup.

Step 3: Configure Alice Mail to use SSL/TLS

  1. Go to Settings > Accounts > Edit next to your Zimbra account.
  2. Click on Advanced and select Use SSL/TLS.
  3. Set the SSL/TLS port to 993.
  4. Save the changes.

Step 4: Test your connection

  1. Go to Settings > Accounts > Edit next to your Zimbra account.
  2. Click on Test to test your connection.
  3. If everything is set up correctly, you should see a success message.

That's it! You should now be able to access your Zimbra email account using Alice Mail.
