All mails are outbox in outlook

A common issue!

If all your emails are showing up as "Outbox" in Outlook, it's likely because of a synchronization issue or a glitch. Here are some troubleshooting steps to help you resolve the issue:

  1. Check your Outbox settings: Go to File > Options > Advanced > Send/Receive. Ensure that the "Mark items as read" option is not selected. This might be causing your emails to be marked as "Outbox" instead of being sent.
  2. Clear the Outbox: Try deleting all the emails from the Outbox folder. You can do this by selecting all the emails in the Outbox folder and pressing the "Delete" key. Then, restart Outlook and see if the issue persists.
  3. Check for synchronization issues: Ensure that your Outlook account is properly synchronized with your email server. Go to File > Account Settings > Account > Change > More Settings > Advanced. Check that the "Use the following URL to connect to my mailbox" field is correct and that the "Use SSL to connect" option is selected.
  4. Check for add-ins or plugins: Sometimes, add-ins or plugins can cause issues with Outlook. Try disabling all add-ins and plugins to see if the issue resolves. To do this, go to File > Options > Add-ins, and then disable all add-ins.
  5. Reset Outlook: If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting Outlook to its default settings. To do this, go to File > Options > Advanced > Reset. This will reset all Outlook settings to their default values.
  6. Check for corrupted files: Corrupted files can cause issues with Outlook. Try running the Outlook Inbox Repair Tool (scanpst.exe) to scan and repair any corrupted files. You can find this tool in the Outlook installation directory (usually C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16\scanpst.exe).
  7. Reinstall Outlook: If none of the above steps work, you may need to reinstall Outlook. Make sure to back up your Outlook data before reinstalling.

If you're still experiencing issues, you may want to contact Microsoft Support or your email provider's support team for further assistance.
