Amended t4 mailing address

If you need to update the mailing address for an amended T4 slip, you can follow these steps:

1. Contact the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA): Reach out to the CRA by phone or email to notify them of the address change. You can call the CRA at 1-800-959-8281 (individuals) or 1-800-959-5525 (businesses) or email them at [email protected].
2. Provide the necessary information: When you contact the CRA, be prepared to provide your:
   • Social Insurance Number (SIN) or Business Number
   • Old mailing address
   • New mailing address
3. Update your address online: You can also update your address online through the CRA's My Account service. To do this:
   • Sign in to your My Account profile
   • Click on "View my account" and then "Update my address"
   • Enter your new mailing address and confirm
4. Submit the amended T4 slip: Once you've updated your address, you'll need to submit the amended T4 slip to the CRA. You can do this by:
   • Filing online through the CRA's My Business Account service
