Android gmail switch inbox

To switch between inboxes in the Gmail app on Android, follow these steps:

1. Open the Gmail app on your Android device.
2. Tap on the three horizontal lines (hamburger menu) in the top left corner of the screen.
3. Tap on "Settings" from the menu.
4. Scroll down to the "Inbox" section.
5. Tap on "Inbox type" and select the inbox type you want to switch to from the options:
   • "Primary" (default inbox)
   • "Social" (inbox for social media notifications)
   • "Promotions" (inbox for promotional emails)
   • "Updates" (inbox for updates from apps and services)
   • "Forums" (inbox for forum posts and discussions)
6. Tap on "Done" to save your changes.

Alternatively, you can also switch between inboxes by using the "Inbox" button at the top of the screen. To do this:

1. Open the Gmail app on your Android device.
2. Tap on the "Inbox" button at the top of the screen.
3. Tap on the inbox type you want to switch to from the options:
   • "Primary"
   • "Social"
   • "Promotions"
   • "Updates"
   • "Forums"

Note that you can also use the "Inbox" button to switch between multiple Gmail accounts if you have multiple accounts set up on your device.
