Android mail no longer auto punctuatuin ir capitalization

That's frustrating!

It's possible that the auto-punctuation and capitalization features have been disabled or changed in the latest version of the Android Mail app. Here are a few things you can try to see if you can get them working again:

  1. Check the app settings: Open the Android Mail app, go to the settings (usually represented by three vertical dots or a gear icon), and look for options related to auto-punctuation and capitalization. You might need to toggle them on or adjust some settings to get them working again.
  2. Update the app: Make sure you're running the latest version of the Android Mail app. Sometimes, updates can fix issues like this.
  3. Reset app settings: Try resetting the app settings to their default values. This might vary depending on the app, but you can usually find this option in the settings menu.
  4. Check for third-party keyboard settings: If you're using a third-party keyboard, such as Gboard or SwiftKey, it's possible that the auto-punctuation and capitalization features are disabled or changed in the keyboard settings. Check the keyboard settings to see if you can enable these features again.
  5. Try a different email client: If none of the above steps work, you might want to try using a different email client, such as Gmail or Microsoft Outlook, to see if the issue is specific to the Android Mail app.

If none of these steps work, you can try searching online for more specific solutions or reaching out to the Android Mail app's support team for further assistance.
