Aol email account deactivation
The nostalgia! AOL (America Online) was a popular internet service provider in the 90s and early 2000s. If you have an AOL email account that you no longer use, you can deactivate it to prevent spam and other issues. Here's how:
Method 1: Deactivate AOL Email Account through AOL Website
- Go to the AOL website (www.aol.com) and sign in to your account.
- Click on the "Account" or "My Account" link at the top right corner of the page.
- Scroll down to the "Account Settings" section and click on "Deactivate Account".
- Confirm that you want to deactivate your account by clicking "Deactivate Account" again.

Method 2: Deactivate AOL Email Account through Verizon Website (if you're a Verizon customer)
If you're a Verizon customer and have an AOL email account, you can deactivate it through the Verizon website:

What happens after deactivating your AOL email account?
After deactivating your AOL email account:
- You will no longer be able to access your AOL email account.
