Aol mail free space
A blast from the past!
AOL (America Online) was a popular internet service provider in the 1990s and early 2000s. As part of its service, AOL offered its users a certain amount of free email storage space, known as "AOL Mail Free Space."
The amount of free space varied over the years, but here are some rough estimates:
- In the early 2000s, AOL Mail Free Space was around 25-50 MB (megabytes) per account.
- In 2005, AOL increased the free space to 100 MB per account.
- In 2007, AOL announced that it would be increasing the free space to 250 MB per account.
- In 2012, AOL announced that it would be discontinuing its free email service and transitioning users to its paid email service, AOL Mail Premium.
Today, AOL Mail is still available, but it's no longer free. To use AOL Mail, you need to sign up for a paid subscription, which includes a certain amount of email storage space. The exact amount of space varies depending on the plan you choose.
Here are some current AOL Mail plans and their corresponding storage space:
- AOL Mail Basic: 1 GB (gigabyte) of storage space
- AOL Mail Premium: 5 GB of storage space
- AOL Mail Pro: 10 GB of storage space
Keep in mind that these plans also come with other features, such as ad-free browsing, virus protection, and more.
