Aol mail imap settings for outlook 365

To set up AOL Mail in Outlook 365, you'll need to use the following IMAP settings:

IMAP Settings:

• Incoming Mail Server: imap.aol.com
• Port: 993
• Encryption: SSL/TLS
• Username: Your AOL Mail address (e.g., [email protected])
• Password: Your AOL Mail password

SMTP Settings:

• Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.aol.com
• Port: 587
• Encryption: STARTTLS
• Username: Your AOL Mail address (e.g., [email protected])
• Password: Your AOL Mail password

Additional Settings:

• Authentication: Use the same username and password for both IMAP and SMTP.
• Leave a copy on the server: You can choose to leave a copy of your emails on the AOL Mail server or not. If you choose to leave a copy, you'll be able to access your emails from both Outlook 365 and the AOL Mail web interface.

Steps to set up AOL Mail in Outlook 365:

1. Open Outlook 365 and go to the "File" menu.
2. Click on "Add Account" and then select "Manual setup or additional server types".
3. Choose "Internet Email" and click "Next".
4. Enter your name, email address, and password, and then click "Next".
5. Select "IMAP" as the account type and enter the IMAP settings above.
