To set up AOL Mail in Outlook 2010, you'll need to follow these steps:

Step 1: Add a new account in Outlook 2010

  1. Open Outlook 2010 and click on "File" in the top left corner.
  2. Click on "Add Account" and then select "Manual setup or additional server types".
  3. Click "Next" and then select "Internet E-mail" from the list of options.

Step 2: Enter your AOL Mail account settings

  1. In the "User Information" section, enter your name and email address.
  2. In the "Server Information" section, enter the following settings:
    • "Incoming mail server" (IMAP): imap.aol.com
    • "Outgoing mail server" (SMTP): smtp.aol.com
    • "User Name": your AOL Mail username (without the "@aol.com" part)
    • "Password": your AOL Mail password
  3. Click "More Settings" and then click on the "Outgoing Server" tab.
  4. Check the box next to "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" and select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".
  5. Click "OK" to close the "More Settings" window.
