Aol.uk mail

A blast from the past!

AOL UK (America Online UK) was a popular internet service provider (ISP) in the UK, offering email services, online content, and internet access to its subscribers. The company was founded in 1991 and was acquired by Time Warner in 2001.

AOL UK's email service, known as AOL Mail, was a free email service that allowed users to create an email address with the @aol.co.uk domain. The service was popular in the UK during the late 1990s and early 2000s, especially among those who were new to the internet.

However, AOL UK's popularity declined in the mid-2000s as other internet service providers and email services, such as Google's Gmail, became more popular. In 2015, AOL UK's email service was rebranded as AOL Mail, and it continued to operate as a free email service.

In 2017, Verizon acquired AOL, and in 2019, Verizon merged AOL with its own digital advertising business, Oath. As a result, AOL Mail is no longer a standalone email service, and its users were migrated to other email services, such as Verizon's Yahoo Mail.

Although AOL UK's email service is no longer available, you can still access your AOL Mail account if you have an existing account. However, you may need to update your account information and password to continue using the service.
