Apple allow mail refresh on low power mode

A great question!

As of iOS 14.2, Apple has introduced a feature that allows Mail to refresh in the background even when your device is in Low Power Mode. This means that you can still receive new emails and notifications while your device is in Low Power Mode.

To enable this feature, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Mail
  2. Tap on "Accounts"
  3. Select the email account you want to enable background refresh for
  4. Toggle on "Background App Refresh"

Once you've enabled Background App Refresh, Mail will continue to refresh in the background even when your device is in Low Power Mode. This way, you'll still receive new emails and notifications without having to manually refresh the Mail app.

Note that this feature is only available on devices running iOS 14.2 or later. If you're running an earlier version of iOS, you may not have this feature available.
