Apple mail add multiple accounts
To add multiple accounts in Apple Mail on your Mac or iOS device, follow these steps:
On a Mac:
- Open Apple Mail.
- Click on "Mail" in the top menu bar and select "Preferences" (or use the keyboard shortcut Command + comma).
- Click on the "Accounts" tab.
- Click the "+" button at the bottom left corner of the window.
- Select "Add Mail Account" from the dropdown menu.
- Enter your account information, such as your name, email address, and password.
- Click "Continue" to add the account.
- Repeat steps 4-7 for each additional account you want to add.
On an iOS device:
- Open the Mail app.
- Tap on the "Mailboxes" tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap on the "Add Account" button.
- Select "Other" from the list of account types.
- Enter your account information, such as your name, email address, and password.
- Tap "Next" to add the account.
- Repeat steps 4-6 for each additional account you want to add.
Managing Multiple Accounts:
Once you've added multiple accounts, you can switch between them by:
- On a Mac: Click on the account name in the top menu bar and select the account you want to use.
- On an iOS device: Tap on the "Mailboxes" tab and swipe left or right to switch between accounts.
You can also set a default account by:
- On a Mac: Click on the account name in the top menu bar and select "Make Default Account".
- On an iOS device: Tap on the "Mailboxes" tab, then tap on the "i" icon next to the account you want to set as default.
Note: If you're using iCloud, you can also add multiple email accounts to your iCloud account and access them from the Mail app on your Mac or iOS device.
