- Choose how often you want your mailbox to refresh from the dropdown menu:
- Every 1 minute
- Every 5 minutes
- Every 15 minutes
- Every 30 minutes
- Every 1 hour
Method 2: Enable Auto-Refresh using a Keyboard Shortcut
- Open Apple Mail on your Mac.
- Go to Mail > Preferences (or press
Cmd +,
). - Click on Keyboard.
- In the Shortcuts section, click on + next to Mailbox.
- Choose Refresh mailbox from the dropdown menu.
- Assign a keyboard shortcut (e.g.,
Cmd + Shift + R
).
Now, whenever you press the assigned keyboard shortcut, your mailbox will refresh automatically.
Note: If you're using a third-party email client or plugin, it may interfere with Apple Mail's auto-refresh feature. Try disabling any plugins or switching to a different email client to see if the issue persists.
