Apple mail default reply to address
To set a default reply-to address in Apple Mail on a Mac, follow these steps:
- Open Apple Mail and go to Mail > Preferences.
- Click on the General tab.
- Scroll down to the Replying section.
- Click on the dropdown menu next to Reply to.
- Select Use my reply-to address.
- Enter the email address you want to use as the default reply-to address in the text field.
- Click OK to save your changes.
Alternatively, you can also set a default reply-to address for a specific account or mailbox:
- Select the account or mailbox in the Mail sidebar.
- Go to Mail > Preferences.
- Click on the Accounts tab.
- Select the account or mailbox from the list.
- Click on the Advanced tab.
- Scroll down to the Replying section.
- Click on the dropdown menu next to Reply to.
- Select Use my reply-to address.
- Enter the email address you want to use as the default reply-to address in the text field.
- Click OK to save your changes.
Note that if you have multiple accounts or mailboxes, you can set a different default reply-to address for each one.
