Apple mail how to assign signature

To assign a signature in Apple Mail, follow these steps:

Method 1: Using the "Signatures" tab

  1. Open Apple Mail and go to Mail > Preferences.
  2. Click on the Signatures tab.
  3. Click on the + button at the bottom left corner of the window to create a new signature.
  4. Enter your signature text in the text field.
  5. You can format your signature using the tools available in the toolbar, such as font, size, and color.
  6. Click OK to save your signature.
  7. To assign the signature to a specific account or all accounts, select the account(s) from the Signatures for dropdown menu.
  8. Click OK to close the Preferences window.

Method 2: Using the "Compose" window

  1. Open Apple Mail and start composing a new email.
  2. Click on the Signature dropdown menu at the bottom of the Compose window.
  3. Select Edit Signature from the menu.
