Apple mail save mailbox

To save a mailbox in Apple Mail, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open Apple Mail and select the mailbox you want to save.
  2. Go to "Mailbox" menu and select "Save Mailbox As..." (or use the keyboard shortcut Command + Shift + S).
  3. In the "Save Mailbox As" window, enter a name for the mailbox in the "Name" field.

Note: When you save a mailbox, you are saving a copy of the mailbox's contents, including emails, contacts, and other data. The original mailbox remains unchanged.

Also, you can use the "Export" feature in Apple Mail to export the mailbox contents to a file, such as a.eml file or a.mbox file. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Select the mailbox you want to export.
  2. Go to "File" menu and select "Export" (or use the keyboard shortcut Command + Shift + E).
  3. In the "Export" window, select the file format you want to use (e.g..eml,.mbox, etc.).
  4. Choose a location to save the exported file.
  5. Click "Export" to export the mailbox contents.
