Apple mail setup pop account
To set up a POP account in Apple Mail, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open Apple Mail
Open Apple Mail on your Mac or iOS device.

- Port: Enter the POP server port number (e.g., "110").
In the "Outgoing Mail Server" section:
- Host Name: Enter the SMTP server hostname (e.g., "smtp.example.com").
- Port: Enter the SMTP server port number (e.g., "25").
Step 8: Save Changes
Click "Continue" to save your changes.
Step 9: Verify Account Setup
Apple Mail will attempt to verify your account settings. If everything is set up correctly, you should see a success message.
Step 10: Start Using Your POP Account
You can now start using your POP account in Apple Mail. You can send and receive emails, and your emails will be stored on the POP server.
Note: Make sure to check with your email provider for the correct POP server settings, as they may vary. Additionally, if you're using a secure connection (SSL/TLS), you may need to select the "Use SSL" or "Use TLS" option in the "Account" settings.
