Apple mail smtp settings
Here are the SMTP settings for Apple Mail:
Outgoing (SMTP) Server:
- Server: smtp.apple.com
- Port: 587
- Authentication: Password
- Username: Your Apple ID (the same one you use to sign in to iCloud)
- Password: Your Apple ID password
Incoming (IMAP) Server:
- Server: imap.apple.com
- Port: 993
- Authentication: Password
- Username: Your Apple ID (the same one you use to sign in to iCloud)
- Password: Your Apple ID password
Notes:
- Make sure to enable SSL/TLS encryption for both the incoming and outgoing servers.
- If you're using a third-party email provider, you may need to use their specific SMTP settings instead of the ones above.
- If you're having trouble connecting to your email account using these settings, you may need to contact your email provider's support team for further assistance.
Setting up Apple Mail with these settings:
- Open Apple Mail on your Mac or iOS device.
- Click on "Mail" in the top menu bar and select "Preferences" (or go to Settings on your iOS device).
- Click on "Accounts" and then click the "+" button to add a new account.
- Select "Other" as the account type.
- Enter your name, email address, and password.
