The pesky spam emails!

If you're receiving spam emails in your Apple Mail account, here are some steps to help you deal with them:

  1. Mark as Junk: Apple Mail has a built-in feature to mark emails as junk. To do this:
    • Select the email you want to mark as junk.
    • Click on the "Junk" button in the top right corner of the email.
    • Confirm that you want to mark the email as junk.
  2. Create a Filter: You can create a filter to automatically move spam emails to the "Junk" folder. To do this:
    • Go to Mail > Preferences > Rules.
    • Click on the "+" button to create a new rule.
    • Set the condition to "Contains" and enter the spam email address or keywords.
    • Set the action to "Move to Junk" and select the "Junk" folder.
    • Click "Save" to save the rule.
  3. Block Senders: You can block specific senders from sending you emails. To do this:
    • Select the email from the spam sender.
    • Click on the "Block" button in the top right corner of the email.
    • Confirm that you want to block the sender.
  4. Report Spam: Apple Mail allows you to report spam emails to help improve their spam filtering. To do this:
    • Select the email you want to report as spam.
    • Click on the "Report Junk" button in the top right corner of the email.
    • Confirm that you want to report the email as spam.
  5. Check your email account settings: Make sure your email account settings are configured correctly. Check your account settings to ensure that you're not inadvertently allowing spam emails to be sent to your account.
