Apple mail stationery catalina

A blast from the past!

Apple Mail Stationery, also known as "Stationery" or "Themes" in newer versions of macOS, is a feature that allows you to customize the look and feel of your email messages in Apple Mail. In the past, Apple provided a range of pre-designed stationery sets, including the popular "Catalina" theme.

The Catalina stationery set was introduced in macOS Catalina (version 10.15) and was designed to resemble the classic Apple II computer. It features a retro aesthetic with a beige and gray color scheme, complete with a vintage-style font and a distinctive " Apple II" logo.

To use the Catalina stationery set in Apple Mail, follow these steps:

  1. Open Apple Mail on your Mac.
  2. Click on the "Mail" menu and select "Preferences."
  3. Click on the "Composing" tab.
  4. Click on the "Stationery" button.
  5. Select "Catalina" from the list of available stationery sets.

Once you've selected the Catalina stationery set, you can use it to compose new emails. The stationery set will apply to all new emails you compose, and you can switch back to the default stationery set at any time.

Note that the Catalina stationery set is no longer available in newer versions of macOS, such as macOS Monterey (version 12) or later. However, you can still use the classic stationery sets that were available in earlier versions of macOS, such as the "Garden" or "Safari" themes.
