Apple mail unsubscribe feature

The joys of managing email subscriptions!

Apple Mail does have an unsubscribe feature, but it's not always straightforward. Here's how to use it:

Method 1: Unsubscribe from a specific email

  1. Open Apple Mail and select the email you want to unsubscribe from.
  2. Click on the "Unsubscribe" button in the top-right corner of the email window. If you don't see this button, you can try clicking on the "More" menu and selecting "Unsubscribe" from the dropdown menu.
  3. If the email provider allows it, you'll be taken to a webpage where you can confirm your unsubscribe request.

Method 2: Unsubscribe from all emails from a specific sender

  1. Open Apple Mail and select the email from the sender you want to unsubscribe from.
  2. Click on "Edit" > "Unsubscribe" from the menu bar.
  3. In the "Unsubscribe" window, select the sender's email address from the list.
  4. Click "Unsubscribe" to confirm.

Method 3: Unsubscribe from all emails from a specific domain

  1. Open Apple Mail and select "Mail" > "Preferences" from the menu bar.
  2. Click on the "Accounts" tab and select the account you want to manage.
  3. Click on the "Unsubscribe" button next to the "Unsubscribe" section.
  4. In the "Unsubscribe" window, enter the domain name (e.g., example.com) and click "Unsubscribe" to confirm.
