The Apprenticeship Incentive Grant (AIG) is a program offered by the Government of Canada to encourage employers to hire and train apprentices in designated trades. If you are an employer or an individual looking to apply for the AIG, you can submit your application and supporting documents to the following mailing address:

Apprenticeship Incentive Grant Employment and Social Development Canada P.O. Box 7000, Station Main Ottawa, ON K1G 3H6

You can also apply online through the Government of Canada's website. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Government of Canada's website at www.canada.ca.
  2. Click on the "Jobs and the workforce" tab.
  3. Select "Apprenticeship Incentive Grant" from the drop-down menu.
  4. Click on the "Apply now" button.
  5. Fill out the online application form and upload the required supporting documents.

The AIG program provides a grant of up to $1,000 per year for each apprentice, up to a maximum of $4,000 over four years. The grant is paid directly to the employer, who can use it to offset the costs of training and supervising the apprentice.

It's worth noting that the AIG program is subject to availability of funds and may be modified or discontinued at any time.
