Archive email in google mail

To archive an email in Gmail, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Using the Archive button

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Open the email you want to archive.
  3. Click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the email.
  4. Click on "Archive" from the dropdown menu.

Method 2: Using the keyboard shortcut

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Open the email you want to archive.
  3. Press the "e" key on your keyboard to toggle the email to the "All Mail" label.
  4. Press the "Shift + e" keys to archive the email.

Method 3: Using the Gmail search bar

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Type "is:unread" in the search bar to find all unread emails.
  3. Click on the email you want to archive.
  4. Click on the "Archive" button at the top of the email.

Method 4: Using the Gmail settings

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon at the top right corner of the page.
  3. Click on "See all settings".
  4. Go to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
  5. Click on "Create a new filter".
  6. Enter the email address or subject of the email you want to archive.
  7. Click on "Create filter".
  8. Select "Apply the label" and choose "All Mail" from the dropdown menu.
  9. Click on "Create".

Once you've archived an email, it will be moved to the "All Mail" label and will no longer be visible in your inbox. However, you can still search for and find archived emails by using the Gmail search bar.
