Archives in google mail
In Google Mail (Gmail), the archives feature allows you to move emails from your inbox to a separate folder, freeing up space in your inbox and making it easier to find specific emails later. Here's how to use the archives feature in Gmail:
Archiving an email:
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Open the email you want to archive.
- Click on the "Archive" button in the top right corner of the email window. The button looks like a box with a downward arrow.
- Alternatively, you can also use the keyboard shortcut "e" to archive the email.
Viewing archived emails:
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "More" menu at the top of the page.
- Select "All Mail" from the dropdown menu.
- In the "All Mail" view, you can filter your emails by label, date, or other criteria.
- You can also use the search bar at the top of the page to search for specific emails.
Restoring archived emails:
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "More" menu at the top of the page.
- Select "All Mail" from the dropdown menu.
- Find the archived email you want to restore.

Tips and variations:
- You can also archive multiple emails at once by selecting them and then clicking on the "Archive" button.
